John and Veronica Maclean have been welcoming bed and breakfast guests to Westfield House for many years, as well as offering the reception rooms as a venue for meetings, conferences and lectures, family gatherings, small weddings and other events of up to 30 people.
The house is situated in the heart of some of the finest farming land in the North of Scotland, and the Macleans grow wheat, potatoes and malting barley for the Whisky Industry. 'The Malt Whisky Trail', which includes many of the great whiskey distilleries of Scotland is but a short touring distance from Westfield.
The attractions of this area, including the Coast with its sandy beaches only ten minutes drive away, are many and varied and to try to give you some idea of the extent of them we have made a list below. The Macleans, whose own interests in the countryside and local area are wide-ranging are always happy to give advice to help their guests with making the most of their visit to this beautiful and historic area.
