Welcome to the Noust, situated just outside Orphir village, 10 miles from Stromness and 7 miles from Kirkwall.
The house is situated in a quiet area off the main road, making this a tranquil location where you can stroll and take in the breathtaking scenery and wildlife that is in abundance. Orkney’s best beach 2006, Waulkmill Bay is situated only a short drive away, making our location an ideal base for visitors to reside whilst exploring the islands.
The ferry terminal for Hoy is only 2 miles away, whilst a 10 minute drive takes you to the ferry terminals at Stromness and Kirkwall, from here you can explore the north and south islands of Orkney.
After a hard day why not relax and unwind in the Noust bar, where a superb selection of malt whiskies awaits, enjoy a bar supper from our menu which comprises fresh local produce served to perfection.
