Welcome to our home.
Nick and Fran Walker extend you a warm welcome to Nia-Roo Lodge.
The house is situated just a very short walk from the centre of the picturesque and historic village of Fort Augustus, through which runs the famous Caledonian Canal. It is here that boats and pleasure cruisers can be seen as they navigate through the ‘staircase’ lock system designed by Thomas Telford, and venture out into the 24 mile expanse of Loch Ness (where the monster lives!) Fort Augustus is home to a wide choice of restaurants, bars and quaint and interesting shops.
All our rooms are tastefully decorated and have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer provided. All rooms are heated independently and can therefore be controlled individually, so your room temperature can be as warm or as cool as you wish.
Our licensed restaurant and lounge bar are open in the evenings, and our menu offers a great selection of mouth-watering starters, main courses and delicious desserts. We also provide a tasty selection of vegetarian options.
