Follow the winding grassy track bordered by rowan trees, wild Skye daffodils, foxgloves and bluebells. Here you will find Rowan Tree Cottage. A pretty little Skye Crofter's cottage, nestling amongst the wild heather moor land. A place to find peace, solitude and a complete sense of timelessness.
The cottage is located in the hamlet of Achnahannaid in the Braes area of Skye, 4-5 miles south of Portree, and centrally placed for touring the island. A safe sandy beach is within two miles.
The cottage and surrounding area will be suited to those who love the hills, wildlife, walking, the bird life, sketching, cycling, fishing, golf and canoeing; or simply enjoying the peace and tranquility that only Skye can offer. A wonderfully quiet place for honeymooner's.
